Services of real estate agents - Requirements for the provision of services of real estate agents; German version EN 15733:2009
Dienstleistungen von Immobilienmaklern - Anforderungen an die Dienstleistungen von Immobilienmaklern; Deutsche Fassung EN 15733:2009
Overview
This European Standard specifies the requirements for the services of real estate agents and applies to business-to-business and business-to-consumer services, respectively. Legal provisions for real estate agents exist in many countries and they are to be taken into consideration. All real estate agents need to comply with the applicable relevant European and national legislations. European and national legislations will replace this European Standard in case of conflicting requirements. This standard on services represents a first European consensus in specifying requirements for the services of real estate agents. Due to the number of different approaches presently taken at national level to the degree of supervision of real estate services in Europe, this standard aims to set general requirements only, and should therefore be taken as the basis upon which higher requirements for the provision of services and education may be defined in the field of service provision of real estate agents. The provisions of the European Standard are applicable to all services including those provided by electronic means and the internet. The Committee responsible for this standard is NA 159-02-03 AA "Immobilienmakler-Dienstleistungen" ("Services of real estate agents") at DIN.
