Abstract
DIN 77009-1 on information, advice and placement of personal and household-related services defines information, advice and placement standards that can be applied across all providers. The central aim is to create transparency, set quality standards and give customers the opportunity to make their own choices and decisions. DIN 77009-1 is intended to help increase the acceptance of personal and household-related services and promote market development. This document specifies requirements for processes and procedures with regard to information about, advice on and the provision of personal and household-related services. In addition, DIN 77009-1 defines standardized terminology and transparent reference processes and procedure models, which also contain recommendations for action.
