Dentistry - Syringes without lever for intraligamental injections
Zahnheilkunde - Hebelfreie Ampullenspritzen für intraligamentale Injektionen
Overview
Nowadays, intraligamentous anaesthesia is a recognized anaesthesia technology in dentistry. The success of intraligamentous anaesthesia mainly depends on suitable instruments. Dosing wheel syringes allow for precise microdosing and optimum pressure and time control. In order to promote the use of intraligamentous anaesthesia, this standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 014-00-23 AA "Dentalmedizinische Instrumente" ("Dental medical instruments") at the Dentistry Standards Committee (NADENT) at DIN, the German Institute for Standardization e. V. This standard applies to reusable syringe systems without lever for intraligamentous anaesthesia used in dentistry, and specifies requirements and test methods.
