Overview
This document applies to mortared tiles or slabs as external wall cladding for buildings and building components with the following dimensions: - area: ≤ 0,12m2; - side length: ≤ 0,49 m. Possible hygroscopically induced cupping of tiles and slabs shall be taken into account. - thickness: ≤ 0,030 m. For corrugated tiles, the total thickness of the tile including the corrugation can be up to 0,02 m. The external wall cladding provides protection against the weather, protects against other effects from the atmosphere and against mechanical stresses and is used for design purposes.
