DIN Standards Committee Building and Civil Engineering

Overview

This standard defines photogrammetry and remote sensing terms for the acquisition and characterization of surfaces with imaging digital sensor systems. It serves to standardize the basic terms and designations. The standard differs from DIN 18716:2012-08 as follows: a) The French translations of terms have been completely deleted; b) The amendment DIN 18716/A1:2015-08 has been incorporated; c) terms have been updated and adapted in the course of the revision of DIN 18740-4; d) the standard has been editorially revised.
