Overview
This standard specifies additional requirements for meter panels for direct measurement up to 63 A. The intermittent operation for applications according to DIN 18015-1 and the permanent operation is covered by this document. In addition to Part 1, the arrangements of the functional surfaces are specified. This part of the standard describes dimensions and specifies wiring requirements for direct measurement. In addition, this part of the standard describes conditions for outdoor use. The responsible committee is DKE/UK 543.1 "Installationskleinverteiler und Zählerplätze" ("Consumer distribution boards and meter panels") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
