This standard is intended to standardize the technical language within the specified scope in order to ensure unambiguous use of technical terms in operation, training and science. This standard contains terms for screen printing and explains itself according to the latest state of the art and terminological principles, eliminating deficiencies in existing language usage as far as possible. This standard has been prepared by DIN Standards Committee Printing and Graphic Technology (NDR), Working Committee NA 017-00-03 AA "Prozesssteuerung und zugehörige Messtechnik" ("Process control and related metrology").
