DIN 18015-3
Electrical installations in residential buildings - Part 3: Wiring and disposition of electrical equipment
Elektrische Anlagen in Wohngebäuden - Teil 3: Leitungsführung und Anordnung der Betriebsmittel
Overview
This standard applies to the installation of invisibly arranged electrical cables as well as to connections, switches and sockets of electrical systems that are planned and erected in accordance with the DIN 18015 series of standards. It also applies to residential buildings with partial commercial use. The purpose of this standard is to restrict the disposition of invisibly arranged electrical lines to certain defined zones in order to minimize the risk of damage to electrical lines when installing other lines, for example for gas, water or heating, or when carrying out other subsequent work on the walls and ceilings or floors. This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 005-09-85 AA "Elektrische Anlagen in Wohngebäuden" ("Electrical installations in residential buildings") at DIN Standards Committee Building and Civil Engineering (NaBau), and replaces DIN 18015-3:2007-09 and DIN 18015-3 Corrigendum 1:2008-01.
