Application of prefabricated reinforced components of autoclaved aerated concrete - Part 101: Design and calculation
Anwendung von vorgefertigten bewehrten Bauteilen aus dampfgehärtetem Porenbeton - Teil 101: Entwurf und Bemessung
Overview
This standard applies to structures which are partly or fully assembled of prefabricated reinforced components of autoclaved aerated concrete according to DIN EN 12602. The components are used as components with structural or non-structural reinforcement. This standard specifies the principles for the design and calculation of the components. The requirements for the material characteristics and the durability of the materials and components used are given in DIN 4223-100. The numerical values required for design for impacts on structures are contained in the standards of the DIN EN 1991 series. Proof of usability issued by the building inspection is required for seismic impacts. The following modifications have been made with respect to DIN 4223-2:2003-12 and DIN 4223-3:2003-12: a) regulations for the calculation and design of components of autoclaved aerated concrete are dealt with in DIN EN 12602:2013-10. b) regulations for the design and calculation of structural components (former DIN 4223-2) are dealt with in DIN EN 12602 and 4.2 of this standard. c) regulations for non-structural components (former DIN 4223-3) are dealt with in 4.3. This document has been prepared by NA 005-07-09 AA "Porenbeton und haufwerksporiger Leichtbeton" ("Autoclaved aerated concrete and light-weight aggregate concrete with open structure") at the DIN Standards Committee Building and Civil Engineering (NABau).
