DIN Standards Committee Building and Civil Engineering

Overview

This standard applies for the application of clay blocks according to DIN EN 15037-3 which can be applied either as statically active blocks (type RR) of ribbed slabs or statically partially active blocks (type SR) of ribbed slabs and beam ceilings in connection with partly prefabricated beams in accordance with DIN EN 15037-1:2008-07, 3.1.1, from prefabricated footrests with lattice girders. This application standard does not apply in particular for: bricks for brick ceilings; bricks for ribbed concrete floors and beam ceilings (if no block); bricks for plasterboards; blocks in connection with completely prefabricated beams.
