Overview
This European Standard defines the characteristics of specific areas dedicated to the preservation, storage, management of, and access to collections. It lists the considerations that should be taken into account to achieve optimum storage and accessibility. The committee responsible for the German collaboration at DIN, the German Institute for Standardization e. V., is Working Committee NA 005-01-36 AA "Erhaltung des kulturellen Erbes" ("Conservation of cultural properties") of the Building and Civil Engineering Standards Committee (NABau) acting as Mirror Committee of CEN/TC 346.
