Overview

This National Annex contains national provisions for the design, calculation and dimensioning of buildings and engineering structures with unreinforced and reinforced masonry where the reinforcement is used to ensure ductility and strength or to improve durability; these provisions shall be taken into account when applying DIN EN 1996-1-1:2010-12 in Germany. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 005-06-01 AA "Mauerwerksbau (SpA zu CEN/TC 125, CEN/TC 250/SC 6 und ISO/TC 179)" ("Masonry (Mirror Committee of CEN/TC 125, CEN/TC 250/SC 6 und ISO/TC 179)") at DIN.
