Mine plans - Deep mining - Part 7: Shaft plan
Bergmännisches Risswerk - Tiefbau - Teil 7: Schachtbild
Overview
The standards about mine plans shall be used according to the Markscheider-Bergverordnung (MarksschBergV) (Mine Surveyors' Ordinance) for the creation and development of maps, drawings and plans of mine plans in all mining branches. Shafts in underground mining provide the only access to the reservoir. Accordingly, shafts are important for the operation of mines; on the other hand, they shall be secured accordingly after operation has been discontinued in order to prevent a hazard for the general public. According to the Mine Surveyors' Ordinance, a shaft plan shall be prepared for every shaft where all important information, such as rock layers, security relevant areas, shaft sinking methods, shaft lining, shaft backfilling, are documented. The standard contains the signs, short forms and terms which shall be used in the mine plan. The standard is illustrated by two extensive examples for mine plans in small-scale and large-scale representation. The standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 008-11-01-05 AK "Grubenbaue" ("Underground workings") at Working Committee "Markscheidewesen" ("Mine surveying") of FABERG.
