This standard specifies general quality requirements and tests for crosslinked medium density polyethylene (PE-MDX) pipes. It is directed at manufacturers and users of PE-MDX pipes. This document is intended to provide the user with a delivery standard including the general quality requirements and the necessary tests dimensions for crosslinked medium density polyethylene (PE-MDX) pipes. The standard contains in particular quality aspects. The Committee responsible for this standard is NA 054-05-02 AA "Prüfverfahren für Rohre" ("Test methods for pipes") at DIN.
