Abstract

This document regulates additional requirements for glazing that is accessed for maintenance work or is fall-through-proof. This document does not regulate any aspects of occupational health and safety. Accessible and fall-through-proof glazing can be supported in a linear or point-supported manner. The structural boundary conditions for linear glazing in accordance with DIN 18008-2 and point-fixed glazing in accordance with DIN 18008-3 must be observed.
