Abstract

his standard specifies the terms, requirements and test-methods for measures against fire transmission for pipes consisting either exclusively of non-combustible pipes or of combustible pipes, including their insulation layers and sheathing where applicable, and for installation shafts and installation ducts. The penetration seals as well as the installation shafts and installation ducts shall be designed in such way that fire and smoke are not transmitted through ceilings or walls during the fire resistance period in accordance with table 1.
