Overview
The DIN 55655 series of standards specifies test methods for electrocoatings for vehicles and other general industrial applications, such chiller units, consumer products, radiators, aerospace, agriculture. This part of DIN 55655 specifies a method for determining the deposition equivalent of an ETL coating. The deposition equivalent makes a statement about the efficiency of the deposition process in the electrocoating process. This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 002-00-07 AA "Allgemeine Prüfverfahren für Beschichtungsstoffe und Beschichtungen" ("General test methods for coating materials and coatings") at DIN Standards Committee Coatings and Coating Materials (NAB).
