Overview
This part of ISO 2811 specifies a method for determining the density of paints, varnishes and related products using a pyknometer. The method is limited to materials of low or medium viscosity at the test temperature. The Hubbard pyknometer can be used for highly viscous materials. The Committee responsible for this standard is NA 002-00-07 AA "Allgemeine Prüfverfahren für Beschichtungsstoffe und Beschichtungen" ("General test methods for coating materials and coatings") at DIN.
