Overview
The Technical Specification describes use cases for cooperative ITS in the areas of safety, mobility and ecological sustainability, which in turn generate communication requirements between vehicles and the infrastructure. This Technical Specification uses corresponding user requirements to develop suitable messages. Specifications are made for data values and data structures in order to define detailed interfaces between devices. Users of this Technical Specification are manufacturers of corresponding systems in the vehicle, as well as manufacturers of infrastructure, especially signaling systems and their operators.
