Overview

"eSafety" means an emergency call system activated either automatically by internal vehicle sensors or manually by the vehicle occupants in the event of an accident to provide an emergency call centre with necessary information about the accident in advance This standard describes conformity tests for the overall "eSafety" system. Users of this standard are mainly: - Manufacturers of eSafety systems - Mobile wireless communications network operators - System manufacturers for emergency call centres - Vehicle manufacturers.
