This Technical Specification provides a general introduction to TPEG (Transport Protocol Expert Group), describes its numbering and versioning and is part of extensive specifications of a byte-oriented data stream format transferring travel-related messages of service providers (radio stations or broadcasters) to end-users (vehicles) and which are visually or audibly assessed by the customer in the respective language.
