Overview

This standard specifies the technical requirements for sounding plugs serving as end closures of sounding pipes terminating below the bulkhead deck. The standard contains the main dimensions, materials and masses. These sounding plugs can be used as closures for sounding pipes of both water tanks and fuel tanks. The responsible committee for this standard is NA 132-02-05 AA "Rohre und Rohrverbindungen" ("Piping systems and connections") at DIN.
