Overview
This standard applies for the dimensions, design and materials of stainless steel fittings with external diameters of 6,35 mm to 219,10 mm for aseptic, chemical and pharmaceutical industry. The end pieces are suitable for orbital welding. The permitted pressures in the tables have been calculated according to DIN EN 13480-3 in connection with the AD 2000 Code for a temperature of 150 °C. All dimensions referring to ASME BPE were converted into metric units and rounded to two decimal places. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 003-01-14 AA "Armaturen für die Lebensmittelindustrie" ("Valves for the food industry") at DIN.
