Overview

This standard applies to screw pipe connections made from stainless steel for expanding and welding of piping systems in the food industry. It specifies dimensional, design and material requirements for screw pipe connections for nominal sizes DN 10 to DN 100 for expanding and for nominal sizes DN 10 to DN 150 for welding to pipes according to DIN 11850. It has been prepared by Working Committee NA 003-01-14 AA "Armaturen für die Lebensmittelindustrie" ("Valves for the food industry") at the Valves Standards Committee (NAA).
