Valves and special valves for process industry, liquified natural gas and for the distribution of natural gas and petrochemical industry
The working committee NA 003-01-11 AA "Valves and special valves for process industry, liquified natural gas and for the distribution of natural gas and petrochemical industry" in the DIN Standards Committee for Valves (NAA) is responsible for working on all standards and standardization projects related to process industry and develops standards for steam traps and protective caps at national level.
The scope of NA 003-01-11 AA includes furthermore the requirements for and testing of industrial valves for the chemical and petrochemical process industry for valves as well as projects for use in connection with the transportation of hydrogen (hydrogen, including natural gas-hydrogen mixtures hereinafter referred to as mixtures) and natural gas in pipelines and for shut-off valves for liquefied natural gas and valves for gas distribution systems (with permissible operating pressures less than or equal to 16 bar) and gas supply systems for the transportation of natural gas (definition according to EN 1594).
The NA 003-01-11 AA is the German mirror committee of the European working group
