This committee is responsible for the standardization of geometrical product specifications (GPS) and technical conditions of delivery for foundry practise. Among other things it defines for speroidal cast iron materials, grey cast irons, sand mouldings, gravity die castings, pressure die castings and light metal castings general and cast material specific technical conditions of delivery, drawing indications for moulded parts, dimensional and geometrical tolerances, machining allowances and designation systems (material short code, material number).
