Concept for the design of 3D models based on properties according to DIN 4000 - Part 81: Drills and counter sinking tools with non-indexable cutting edges
Konzept für den Aufbau von 3D-Modellen auf Grundlage von Merkmalen nach DIN 4000 - Teil 81: Bohr- und Senkwerkzeuge mit nicht lösbaren Schneiden
Overview
This document applies in conjunction with DIN 4003-1 and DIN 4000-81 for the 3D representation of drills and countersinking tools with non-indexable cutting edges. This document applies to standardized and non-standardized drills and countersinking tools with non-indexable cutting edges that are located directly on the base body and for tools with cutting inserts that are firmly attached to the base body and cannot be mechanically indexed (for example, soldered). The standard differs from DIN 4003-81:2014-11 as follows: a) standard has been adapted to DIN 4000-81:2017-08 and aligned with ISO/TS 13399-302; b) Clause 6.4: Figure 12 has been revised; c) Clause 16 "Single-fluted deep-hole drill", Section 17 "Core Drills" and Clause 18 "Back Countersinks" have been added, including Figures 52 to 56; d) Clause 23: Cutting part line has been added in Figure 61; e) Clause 23: Example 2 including Figure 62 added. This standard has been prepared by DIN Standards Committee Tools and Clamping Devices (FWS), Working Committee NA 121-07-02 AA "Aufbau von 3D-Modellen nach DIN 4000" ("Design of 3D models based on properties according to DIN 4000").
