DIN Standards Committee Tools and Clamping Devices

Overview

This standard defines the XML schema for the exchange of data on standardized and non-standardized products that are classified and described using tabular layouts of properties from the DIN 4000 series of standards. The standard differs from DIN 4000-102:2013-12 as follows: a) general description of the XML format has been revised; b) date format for the "TimeStamp" element has been defined; c) "Standard version" element has been added; d) "Primary-ID" element has been added; e) "Customer" element has been added; f) "Customer-Material-ID" element has been added; g) "Note" element has been added; h) Parameter "long" has been added to the element "Value" to specify multilingual ; i) The element "Block" for the transfer of block structures has been introduced; j) Figure 1: XML schema has been adapted; k) Annex A: Sample XML files has been adapted; l) Annex B: DTD file for the XML schema has been adapted; m) the standard has been editorially revised. This standard has been prepared by DIN Standards Committee Tools and Clamping Devices (FWS), NA 121-07-01 AA "Merkmallisten und 3D-Modelle für Werkzeuge, Werkzeughalter, Spannmittel und Werkzeugmaschinen" ("Tabular layouts of properties and 3D models for tools, adaptive items, clamping devices and machine tools").
