Overview
This standard specifies the dimensions, the method of test, the designation, and the marking of hexagon socket screw keys. It also specifies the minimum values of Rockwell hardness that are to be met. This standard differs from DIN ISO 2936:2001-09 as follows: a) values for widths across corners in Table 1 have been corrected; b) the standard has been editorially revised. The responsible German committee is Working Committee NA 121-05-01 AA "Schraubwerkzeuge, Fügewerkzeuge" ("Assembly tools for screws and nuts, Fastening tools") at DIN Standards Committee Tools and Clamping Devices (FWS).
