DIN 1530-1
Tools for moulding - Part 1: Ejector pins with cylindrical head
Press-, Spritzgieß- und Druckgießwerkzeuge - Teil 1: Auswerferstifte mit zylindrischem Kopf
Overview
The standard DIN 1530-1 is applicable to ejector pins with cylindrical head for ejection of moulded parts from die-casting, compression and injection moulds. For die-casting moulds, ejector pins are predominantly made of hot-work steel (HWS) and nitrided. For compression moulds and injection moulds, the ejector pins are predominantly made of cold-work steel (CWS) and quenched and tempered. The standard replaces DIN ISO 6751. With the revision of the DIN ISO standard, the multitude of standardized sizes of ejector pins has been reduced because it is considered to be unnecessary. It is intended to introduce the standard DIN 1530-1 as a German suggestion for the revision of ISO 6751. The standard DIN 1530-2 is applicable for shouldered ejector pins with cylindrical head for ejection of moulded parts from die-casting, compression and injection moulds. For die-casting moulds, ejector pins are predominantly made of hot-work steel (HWS) and nitrided. For compression moulds and injection moulds, the ejector pins are predominantly made of cold-work steel (CWS) and quenched and tempered. The standard replaces DIN ISO 8694. With the revision of the DIN ISO standard, the multitude of standardized sizes of ejector pins has been reduced because it is considered to be unnecessary. It is intended to introduce the standard DIN 1530-1 as a German suggestion for the revision of ISO 8694. The standard DIN 1530-3 is applicable for shouldered ejector pins with conical head for ejection of moulded parts from die-casting, compression and injection moulds. In the new edition of the standard, the multitude of standardized sizes of ejector pins has been reduced because it is considered to be necessary. The standards have been prepared by Working Committee NA 121-03-03 AA "Press-, Spritzgieß-, und Druckgießwerkzeuge" ("Tools for moulding") of the FWS.
