Concept for the design of 3D models based on properties according to DIN 4000 - Part 1: Overview and fundamental principles
Konzept für den Aufbau von 3D-Modellen auf Grundlage von Merkmalen nach DIN 4000 - Teil 1: Übersicht und Grundlagen
Overview
This standard specifies fundamental principles for 3D modelling on the basis of the standard series DIN 4000, namely, basic starting elements in three-dimensional space such as coordination systems, levels, axes and points are specified. In the standard series DIN 4003, clear rules independent of CAD/CAM systems are specified for design of 3D models. Based on the standard series DIN 4000 and ISO 13399, 3D models with coordination systems and additional parameters are defined in their representation and depth of detailing. These 3D models form the basis for the data exchange, for instance, between suppliers and users and the application in the CAD/CAM process chain. This standard has been prepared by NA 128-00-03-05 AK "Aufbau von 3D-Modellen nach DIN 4000" ("Design of 3D models according to DIN 4000").
