DIN Standards Committee Railway

Overview

This document (EN 1993-1-6:2007 + AC:2009 + A1:2017) has been prepared by CEN/TC 250 "Structural Eurocodes", the secretariat of which is held by BSI (Great Britain). The German mirror committee is Working Committee NA 005-08-16 AA "Tragwerksbemessung (SpA zu CEN/TC 250/SC 3, ISO/TC 167/SC 1)" ("Design of structures (national mirror committee for CEN/TC 250/SC 3, ISO/TC 167/SC 1)") at DIN Standards Committee Building and Civil Engineering (NABau). EN 1993-1-6 contains basic rules for the design of steel structures in the form of rotational shells. This standard is to be applied in conjunction with EN 1993-1-1, EN 1993-1-3, EN 1993-1-4, EN 1993-1-9 and the relevant application parts of EN 1993.
