Urban Rail – Requirements for Urban Rail Tracks - Part 2: Track alignment
Abstract
This document is applicable to operations with vehicles for public passenger transport within urban rail. This includes non-conventionally operated track-guided urban rail that perform the same functions, such as monorail and other passenger transportation systems. This document is not applicable to mainline vehicles of all gauges, track construction and maintenance machines, two-way vehicles, magnetic levitation trains and their vehicles, track-guided buses, trolley buses, light railroads, mine railroads, park railroads, mountain railroads, cable and funicular railroads, and amusement rides and railroads used exclusively for historical or tourist purposes.
