Overview

This document specifies basic terms for use in all lighting applications. Specialist terms with limited applications are given in individual standards. This document also sets out a framework for specifications of lighting requirements and describes details of aspects which shall be considered when setting these requirements. The responsible German Committee is NA 058-00-01 GA "Größen, Bezeichnungen und Einheiten" ("Quantities, designations and units") of the Lighting Technology Standards Committee (FNL).
