Rubber, NBR - Shore A hardness 40, mineral oil resistant - Part 4: Resilient elastomeric elements
NBR-Elastomer - 40 Shore A, mineralölbeständig - Teil 4: Elastomer-Federelemente
Overview
The material specification documents the properties, test procedures and tests on the standard specimen with the corresponding units and formula symbols. NBR (also known as acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber) is usually resistant to mineral oil products, hydraulic oils, oil-water emulsions and also polymers in water, so-called (HFC fluids). In addition, NBR has good mechanical properties, good low-temperature behavior, high abrasion resistance and is also flame-retardant. The committee responsible for the material specification is standardization committee NA 132-02-10 AA "Schock- und Schwingungsdämpfung" ("Shock and vibration decrement").
