Rohre und Fittings aus vernetztem Polyethylen (PE-X) - Berechnung des Grades der Vernetzung durch Bestimmung des Gel-Gehaltes (ISO 10147:2011); Deutsche und Englische Fassung EN ISO 10147:2012
Overview
This standard specifies a method for the assessment of the degree of crosslinking in crosslinked polyethylene (PE-X) pipes and fittings by determination of the gel content by solvent extraction. The standard is directed at manufacturers, test institutes and users of thermoplastic pipes and fittings. This document is intended to provide the user with an internationally recognized test standard for evaluation of the degree of crosslinking in crosslinked polyethylene (PE-X) pipes and fittings by determination of the gel content by solvent extraction. The standard contains in particular quality and product safety aspects. DIN EN ISO 10147 is the German version of the standard prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 138 "Plastics pipes, fittings and valves for the transport of fluids", in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 155 "Plastics piping systems and ducting systems". The committee responsible for DIN EN ISO 10147 is NA 054-05-02 AA "Prüfverfahren für Rohre" ("Test methods for pipes") at DIN.
