Overview
This product standard contains requirements and tests for castors for mobile equipment in mass catering. Examples include serving trolleys, tray clearing trolleys, banquet trolleys or rack trolleys for convection steamers. When a customer purchases a mobile catering appliance, this standard is intended to ensure that the casters used on the appliance meet the requirements and stresses of daily use for catering operations. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 040-05-02 AA "Großküchengeräte" ("Equipment for commercial kitchens") at DIN.
