Overview
This product standard contains requirements for food transport trolleys for use in mass catering. Food transport trolleys are intended for manual transport (hand-operated) and for keeping catering containers warm, including the food contained. The major focus is on requirements regarding safety, construction and operational mode as well as hygiene aspects. With this standard it is ensured that the customer acquires a runabout cart which meets the requirements and demands existing in the field of mass catering. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 040-05-02 AA "Großküchengeräte" ("Equipment for commercial kitchens") at DIN.
