DIN Standards Committee Heating and Cooking Equipment

Overview

This product standard contains requirements for the design of trays for use in commercial kitchens, sections of food transport, distribution and serving as well as catering. The focus is particularly on the specification of the dimensions and the design of the tray border, including the associated tests. Therewith, the work routine in the sections food transport, food distribution and catering are rationalized by creating a high level of exchangeability of kitchen elements. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 040-05-02 AA "Großküchengeräte" ("Equipment for commercial kitchens") at DIN.
