Dispense systems for draught beverages - Part 5: Safety, hygienic and application-technical requirements and testing of ready-for-use dispense systems for draught beverages, component assemblies and components
Getränkeschankanlagen - Teil 5: Sicherheitstechnische, hygienische und anwendungstechnische Anforderungen an verwendungsfertige Getränkeschankanlagen, Bauteilgruppen und Bauteile sowie ihre Prüfung
Overview
This standard has been prepared by NA 012-00-04 GA "Gemeinschaftsarbeitsausschuss FNCA/NAL: Getränkeschankanlagen" ("Joint Working Committee FNCA/NAL: Beverage dispensing systems"), of the NA 012 Standards Committee chemical apparatus engineering (FNCA) and the NA 057 Standards Committee Food and Agricultural Products (NAL). In NA 057 Standards Committee Food and Agricultural Products (NAL) the standardization work was coordinated within Working Committee NA NA 057-02-01 AA "Lebensmittelhygiene" ("Food hygiene"). This standard was prepared in cooperation with the study group "Getränkeschankanlagen" ("Beverage dispensing systems") of the Berufsgenossenschaft Nahrungsmittel und Gastgewerbe (BGN) (Food and Restaurant Employers' Liability Insurance Association). This standard applies for ready-for-use dispense systems for draught beverages, including all their components and component assemblies. It specifies the safety, hygienic and application-technical requirements for ready-for-use beverage dispense systems, components and component assemblies and their testing for demonstration/proof of conformity with the relevant rules and standards and their performance as part of factory production control or by a test laboratory that is accredited by the certification body for beverage dispense systems. During the revision of standard DIN 6650-5 on the test methods, the contents of the standards DIN 6650-2 on material requirements, DIN 6650-3 on safety requirements and DIN 6650-4 on hygiene requirements have been integrated. Consequently there is only one standard in which the various requirements and the respective verification test are summarized. As a result the application of the standard is facilitated. The standard is structured so that in the main part in the each separate clause for the beverage dispensing system generally applicable material, safety and hygienic requirements as well as in two other clauses, general requirements for their verification by the manufacturer (including the test protocol) and information on specification are given. Furthermore, material, safety and hygiene requirements and their verification are standardized in separate subclauses in an extensive normative Annexfor the essential components (such as pressure regulator, safety valves, dispensing valves, etcetera). Further bibliography completes this standard.
