Overview
This standard specifies hexagon washer head tapping screws with thread sizes from ST 2,2 to ST 8 inclusive. With respect to the previous edition DIN 6928, in addition to the editorial revision, the specifications regarding the finish have been concretised by supplementing passivation, and two further diameters have been added. This document (EN ISO 7053:2011) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 2 "Fasteners", in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 185 "Fasteners" (secretariat: DIN, Germany). The responsible German committee is Working Committee NA 067-00-05 AA "Kleinschrauben und gewindeformende Schrauben" ("Miniature screws and thread forming screws") of the Fasteners Standards Committee (FMV).
