DIN Standards Committee Iron and Steel

Overview

This standard specifies the designs, dimensions and materials for weld-in deck screw caps for filling and sounding pipes and gives installation examples. They are preferably used on ships. These deck screw caps are not suitable for drinking water pipelines. The responsible committee for this standard is NA 132-02-05 AA "Rohre und Rohrverbindungen" ("Piping systems and connections") at DIN.
