Application of prefabricated reinforced components of autoclaved aerated concrete - Part 100: Properties and requirements of materials and components
Anwendung von vorgefertigten bewehrten Bauteilen aus dampfgehärtetem Porenbeton - Teil 100: Eigenschaften und Anforderungen an Baustoffe und Bauteile
Overview
This standard applies to structures which are partly or fully assembled of prefabricated reinforced components of autoclaved aerated concrete according to DIN EN 12602. AAC components according to DIN EN 12602 are subject to the method for verification of compliance (product with CE marking). The components are used as components with structural reinforcement, such as horizontal and vertical wall coverings, roof and ceiling components as well as beams, and as structural components, for example as storey-high wall coverings. The components shall only be used with static and quasistatic actions in accordance with DIN EN 1990:2010-12, 1.5.3.11 and 1.5.3.13 in terms of predominantly static actions in accordance with DIN EN 1992-1-1/NA:2013-04, NA 1.5.2.6. This standard specifies requirements for the materials, the use of the components and the durability. The following modifications have been made with respect to DIN 4223-1:2003-12: a) regulations for prefabricated components of autoclaved aerated concrete are dealt with in DIN EN 12602:2013-10; b) compressive strength and density classes of autoclaved aerated concrete have been adapted to DIN EN 12602:2013-10. This document has been prepared by NA 005-07-09 AA "Porenbeton und haufwerksporiger Leichtbeton" ("Autoclaved aerated concrete and light-weight aggregate concrete with open structure") at the DIN Standards Committee Building and Civil Engineering (NABau).
