Air regulating systems for mining - Wing air doors for travelling tracks - One-wing type air doors without pressure reduction
Wetterbauwerke für den Bergbau - Flügeltüren für den Fahrweg - Nicht druckentlastete einflügelige Wettertüren
Overview
Underground workings in mines must be supplied with fresh air. The air flow is guided and regulated via air regulating systems. Air doors are openings in these regulating systems which serve for the passage of persons (travelling track) or haulage (haulage track). This standard applies to air doors intended for travelling tracks. They can be built in either immediately next to the air doors for the haulage track or separately from them. Doors according to this standard are without pressure reduction, so the force in front and behind the door resulting from the difference of the weather pressures must be overcome upon opening. A pressure relief damper shall be present in order to reduce this force when the door is opened manually. The standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 008-06-01 AA "Wettertüren" ("Air doors") of FABERG.
