DIN Standards Committee Iron and Steel

Overview

DIN 82003-2 specifies the technical terms of delivery for the components for lifting, towing and lashing listed and documented in DIN 82003-1. The technical terms of delivery also contain, in addition to an impact test in accordance with DIN EN 10045-1, specifications for the manufacture of "forged", "machined", "flame-cut", "welded" and "cast" components. Further specifications include the design of surface protection, marking and the necessary tests. In the Bibliography, reference is made to DIN EN ISO 1461, Supplement 1 "Hot dip galvanized coatings on fabricated iron and steel articles - Specifications and test methods".
