Overview

This standard specifies the requirements, severity levels and test program for terminated flexible cables for sound and television broadcast receivers, preferably used in 75 Ώ cable networks. The connected coaxial RF connectors with clamp coupling type F-Quick are essentially used for connections that are disconnected more often than fixed (screwed) connectors type F according to IEC 61169-24. A typical application is the use as type F receiver feeder or connecting cables. The responsible committee is DKE/K 412 "Kommunikationskabel (Kabel, Leitungen, Wellenleiter, Lichtwellenleiter, Komponenten, Zubehör und Anlagentechnik für die Nachrichten- und Informationsübertragung" ("Communication cables (cables, conductors, waveguides, fibre optic cables, components, accessories and systems technology for communication and data transmission") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
