Overview
This part of the DIN EN 60317 series specifies general requirements for glass-fibre wound, resin or varnish impregnated, bare or enamelled rectangular copper wire with or without a bonding layer. This basic part forms the basis for further standards in the series with these basic properties. The responsible committee is DKE/K 413 "Wickeldrähte" ("Winding wires") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
