Overview
This Technical Specification provides manufacturers and testing houses with a basis for the design and testing of electro-sensitive protective equipment specifically for the detection of persons or parts of persons. The protective device is based on image processing systems with stereoscopic viewing methods for the sensor function. The responsible committee is Subcommittee DKE/UK 225.2 "Elektrosensitive Schutzeinrichtungen von Maschinen" ("Electro-sensitive protective equipment of machines") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
