Overview
This European Standard is applicable to ceramic insulated bushings for rated voltages up to 1 000 V, rated currents from 250 A up to 5 000 A and frequencies from 15 Hz to 60 Hz for insulating liquid filled transformers. Its application improves and facilitates the exchangeability of bushings by specifications of dimensions and requirements of mechanical tests. This amendment now also considers the limits of temperature rise according to EN 60137:2008. The responsible committee is Subcommittee DKE/UK 321.2 "Transformatoren, Leistungen und Abmessungen" ("Transformers, performances and dimensions") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
