Overview
The standard sheets of this loose-leaf publication specify requirements for lamp holders important for interchangeability of a lamp with a certain cap in the corresponding lamp holder. Through Amendments A45 and A46, the requirements for the caps P38s (7004-41-2), P46s (7004-41A-2), W3.3x10.4d (7004-96-1), flash cube holder (7004-98-1) and the cap GY10 (7004-145-1) have been deleted. The requirements for the caps G13 (7004-51-9), G5 (7004-52-7), G8.5 Type B (7004-122-3), G9 (7004-129-3), GX53 (7004-142-2) and the termination on finished lamps GU16d/GX16d Type 1 and GX16d Type 2 (7004-154-2) have been revised. New requirements for printed circuit caps CH14.65d (7004-162-1), caps PGZ18 and PGZX18 (7004-163-1), cap WP 3.3x14.5 (7004-164-1), cap PGJ21t (7004-165-1) as well as cap GU8.5 (7004-166-1) have been added. The responsible committee is UK 521.2 "Lampensockel und -fassungen" ("Lamp caps and holders") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
